Review Library

I was having trouble memorizing lyrics to songs I have written and others as well. One of my by-vocations is writing songs and occasionally others actually sing them. But my memory was fading. Then it hit me i wasn’t reviewing enough.

Learning is continuous if it is reviewed and revisited often.

I from my experience developed what I call my – review library. These are books I read every so often or notes I have taken that I mull over repeatedly. You really learn nothing without repetition. I also find it a mentally positive exercise to put this library to memory.

I learn new songs because I think it keeps me creative and is good for my memory capacity. We do get lazy mentally and I think that can have a tragic effect on what can be the most effective years of your life.

I also pick a Psalm for the year to memorize. I read and watch and listen to the Holy Spirit as to what his message to me would be for the year. This year its a long one, Psalm 18. Putting scripture to memory is a way to keep the neurons firing as well.

Review is a major part of all success.
