I have a friend who defines our life goal as “being more like us.” I would add more like God but that is probably the core of what it means “to be like us.”
I have worked with some intense strategic planning processes. I have learned that a good plan begins with “who are we.” Rather than who do we want to be. I think strategic plans need to be made for specific people, in specific locations at specific times.
Mimics are sad I think. And I think churches following other’s discoveries become confused churches.
