I am teaching on the letter to the church at Pergamum in the second chapter of Revelation this week.
One phrase keeps standing out to me. It is, “I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE.”
This means he knows what we face. This church had to share a city with Satan and his throne. Pretty tough circumstances.
The essence of all spiritual battles that end victoriously for the saints is persevering through the circumstances because you have an eye on the end.
