The way you think is the way you’ll act. The way you act will determine who you are. Who you are determines your rate of success. Mantras of any organization energize any organization. After some thought I have come up with my mantras for 2008. I only have seven. I am sure we have dozens of unrecognized chants but the deliberate ones are more fun.
Mantras for 2008
- 1. If its too good to be true it probably is.
- 2. Beware of your passions they could cause you to miss some fun.
- 3. Most truly great stuff is accidental.
- 4. Go for reaching everyone and let them tell you who your target audience is.
- 5. Team work is overrated – team play isn’t.
- 6. Every board meeting should begin with a guitar jam season. People who jam together move mountains together.
- 7. Ask what your sixteen year olds would do and you will likely get it right every time.
