These are things I tell church builders I consult with that Christians should know:
 

11. How faith works and grows: Faith is major act of grace in our lives and few people know how to feed it.

12. How to remember: We need to be taught what to remember at all times. Things like the fact we are loved, forgiven and accepted by God. Remembering what is going right is important, too. Leaders have to work this in again and again or we remember the wrong stuff.

13. The importance of community in an isolated world: How to find community is a lost art in our society. We need to hear about how to do this regularly.

14. How to do small acts of kindness with big love: This is the core of all outreach. We must teach our churches to sow plenty of seeds and allow the Holy Spirit to turn them into full fruitful plants. We need help with ideas and partnerships with people doing small acts of kindness to be effective churches.
